Why I Created The JR Digital Academy

Over the years, I’ve worked closely with my clients long after their websites have launched — helping them update text, add images, and create blog posts.

And I started to notice something…

I was teaching the same things again and again.

  • The same questions.
  • The same frustrations.
  • The same lack of confidence when it came to managing their own websites.

That’s what inspired the JR Digital Academy.

I realised there was a better way to support more people — not just my one-to-one clients — by creating a step-by-step course that teaches everything clearly, properly, and in a way that actually makes sense.

I’ve always loved teaching. I used to be a College Lecturer, and alongside my design business, I’m also a qualified Fitness Professional — so guiding people, breaking things down, and building confidence is something I genuinely love.

The Academy brings all of that together. So you don’t just end up with a website. You end up understanding it, managing it, and feeling confident using it.

None at all. This course starts from absolute zero — everything explained in plain English with no jargon.

How long will the course take?

Most students should complete the core modules in 4–6 weeks. You’ll have lifetime access so there’s no rush.

What will my finished website look like?

A professional, mobile-friendly WordPress site — not a DIY-looking build. You follow the same process Jacquie uses with paying clients.
